visatec - History

• 1994 Foundation of visatec GmbH  by Siegfried Kraus and Uwe Reisacher after 10 years of
  experience with visual inspection systems
  
  
• 1995 Employment of the fist staff
  
  
• 1996 Development of the first focusable mini camera
  
  
• 1998 Development of watertight visual inspection cameras with pan / tilt features
  
  
• 2000 Development of remotely operated vehicles ( ROV ) for visual inspections in nuclear facilities
  
  
• 2002 Integration of the WKI GmbH company and extension of product range with text
  inserters / data inserters
  
  
• 2002 Move to the new company building in Sulzberg / Allgäu
  
  
• 2005 Staff certification following DIN EN 473 (VT2 and VT3)
  
  
• 2009 The company has now 28 employees
